The Yitpi Yartapuultiku Port Adelaide Cultural Centre has been designed as a welcoming community destination that celebrates culture, creativity and connection. To support the centre's diverse range of performances, presentations and community events, Select Concepts supplied a complete modular staging solution that delivers both functionality and architectural quality.
Working alongside Ashley Halliday Architecture + Interiors and Sarah Constructions, our team designed and manufactured a customised QUATTRO staging system that complements the building's contemporary interior while providing maximum flexibility for future use.
The Solution
The project features our Australian-made QUATTRO Performance Stage, finished with elegant black timber deck panels to create a refined, professional appearance suitable for cultural performances, ceremonies, concerts, community gatherings and presentations.
To ensure the stage is fully accessible and inclusive, the installation also includes a wheelchair access ramp, allowing performers and presenters of all abilities to access the performance area safely and confidently.
Complementing the performance stage is a QUATTRO Tiered Seating system, providing comfortable audience viewing while maintaining the flexibility to reconfigure the space as required. Together, the stage and seating create a versatile performance environment that can easily adapt to the changing needs of the cultural centre.
Beyond Installation
At Select Concepts, our commitment doesn't end once the equipment has been delivered and installed.
Following completion of the project and handover of the building, our team returned to conduct a comprehensive staff training session, ensuring the centre's personnel were confident in the safe setup, operation, reconfiguration and storage of the staging and seating systems. This practical training enables staff to maximise the flexibility of the equipment while ensuring many years of reliable operation.
